composting demo

October 13, 2018
St. Nicholas Park

We set up a table at the St. Nicholas Park site of Climate Signals for park-goers to learn about climate change, food justice, and waste processing in NYC. Harlem Grown provided a composting demo and delicious snacks made from fresh, Harlem Grown veggies while the Climate Museum talked about food waste, climate change, and our our citywide art installation, Climate Signals.

We also celebrated the TRASH Project's 10th Anniversary with music, flower planting, and a park cleanup.

Presented in partnership with Harlem Grown.
