BAY TO BEACH CLIMATE WALK AND ARTS WORKSHOP

On this Bay to Beach tour of Rockaway Park, we saw firsthand evidence of the devastating impacts of climate change as well as the strides that an extraordinary seaside community has made toward building a resilient future. After the tour, we held a local artist-led workshop focused on expressing climate emotions through visual art on the boardwalk by the Climate Signals Rockaway Park site.
This event was presented in partnership with the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy.
